important notes
- I offer three categories of styles. Full render, coloured, and lineart.
- I can do portraits to full bodies, with simple or medium to complex backgrounds. The final price will match the complexity and time needed.
- Please note that the rates shown in the graphics are an estimate for a base price for one character and a simple/medium complex background.
- Prices are subject to increase for pieces with more than one character.
- The full colour rendering option has a limit of 4 characters.
- A good reference with flat colours of your original character (if I am drawing them) will be much appreciated. Information about the character will also help me depict them more accurately.
terms of service
1. General
- The piece will include a signature watermark which must not be removed.
- The client must have read the important notes section and have agreed to them.
- I reserve the right to decline any commission prompts if I am uncomfortable with them or if they are against my ethical code.2. Payment
- Commissions will be paid 100% upfront through paypal invoice, which will be emailed to the client. I will start after full payment has been processed.
- However, if the price comes out to 300USD and over, I will offer split payment of 50% upfront and 50% after refined sketch approval (before I start colouring).
- Fees and taxes will be added.
- I do not do refunds. I plan to carry out each piece to completion.3. Process and Delivery
- The client must be clear and committed with their initial brief and/or reference.
- The client will be given composition drafts/sketches to choose from.
- They should mention any special requests for changes at this stage, as they will have a limited chance to change the composition after I leave the sketch phase.
- While the commission is in process, there will be check ins with the client which include work in progress shots for each session of drawing.
- After the initial completion of the art piece, I will contact the client for any small final touches if necessary. Please be reasonable during this process, so we may better work together to produce a finished piece.
- The duration needed to complete the artwork is dependant on the complexity. However, a rough estimate for a full colour character with one character will take 1-3 weeks.
- After the final review, the piece is finalized and is sent to the client via email.4. Copyright / Usage policy
- I, BrontideBones (the artist), claim the rights to the produced art piece, not the buyer. This means I can use the copyrighted artwork to: promote myself with it anywhere, display it to my liking, use it as an example of my work, and post it wherever I want.
- The client may post the finished work they’ve paid for anywhere they want with due credit of my artist’s name “BrontideBones”.
- The client may also print the work for their own private use, provided they do not make money with it.
- The following is considered copyright infringement: reproducing or using the artwork commercially, claiming the artwork as your own, removing my signature from the artwork, and altering the artwork without my consent.
